Suriya starrer 24, directed by Vikram K Kumar has been selected for the screening at 3rd Silk Road Film Festival, that is going to be held in Dublin, Ireland. The film is said to be competing with more than 650 other movies from 35 different countries.
When we contacted the director and co-producer of 2D Entertainment, Rajsekar Pandian, he said, "It is a proud feeling for us. We had sent the film a few days back for the competition. The festival jury saw the film and called us back. They liked the film and appreciated us for making a film with a concept that is not much touched upon. They also told us 24 was one of the rarest time travel films they have seen from the Asian continent. They will be screening the film with Chinese subtitles"
It should be noted that 24 is the first Tamil film to be selected for the Silk Road Film Festival and it is a huge honour indeed.
