Actor Suresh Menon is a happy man as his role in Suriya’s Thaana Serndha Koottam seems to be received well by the audiences. In an exclusive chat with Behindwoods, he talks about the feedback he has been getting post TSK’s release and also about his upcoming project with Vijay Sethupathi, Junga. He said:
“Acting in TSK as well as Junga were great experiences. Both Suriya and Vijay Sethupathi are really good actors and it was nice to share screen space with them. The feedback for TSK has been really good and it is fantastic to see that the film has opened well. TSK I guess is the pongal winner.”
Suresh Menon who had directed and played the lead in Puthiya Mugam is also doing an important role in Vignesh Shivn - Suriya's Thaana Serndha Koottam. A section of media has been reporting that he is dead.
Apparently, this news is totally false. Looks like the rumour mongers have got confused with his name with Malayalam film Puthiya Mukham director Diphan who passed away this morning in Kochi.
When Behindwoods spoke to Suresh Menon, he said, “The news is obviously false, I am Suresh Menon talking and I am enjoying some nice coffee at the moment. That’s all I can say”.
Besides Thaana Serndha Koottam, Suresh Menon is also acting in 4G. Things like these are a little sensitive and we request people to double or triple check before carrying such stories.
