DOES PREMIERES SPOIL THE FDFS OF KABALI?

Piracy has been a great bane for the cinema industry for many years. Not just that, these days, even foreign premiere screenings act as spoilers, thereby spoiling the interest of watching the movie with excitement and suspense.

It happened for every big film, such as Kaththi, Lingaa, Vedalam, Theri and so on. Now the latest addition to that list is Superstar’s Kabali, directed by Pa.Ranjith.

This film is set to release worldwide tomorrow on the 22nd, but there was a special screening for the distributors yesterday, 20th of July night, at Bay Area, United States. Looks like, someone from the auditorium has shot the introduction scene of Rajinikanth and leaked it online which is spreading virally all over the social media.

As a result, a set of audiences has decided to stay away from social networks for the next two days. The makers of Kabali are upset over the issue and the entire film industry has extended their support, by requesting the audience to avoid seeing or downloading the pirated links.
