Superstar Rajinikanth will next be seen in Siva directorial, which is titled "Annaatthe". The project will be produced by Sun Pictures, which had earlier bankrolled Rajinikanth’s successful hits that include Endhiran and Petta.

Now, in an official tweet, Sun Pictures have revealed the happy news that the movie is expected to hit the screens by Pongal 2021! Yes, possibly one of the happiest news that can be found in K-Town from the Annaatthe team is this latest announcement. Check out the announcement video here!

Apart from Thalaivar, the film will also feature Meena, Khushboo, Nayanthara, Sathish, Prakash Raj, Soori amongst others. D Imman will be composing music for this film and it will mark his first collaboration with the Superstar.

Lady Superstar will be seen essaying the role of a lawyer in the film and this would be the first time she would be seen donning the black coat. The details of the other role characteristics still remain unknown.
