SUPERSTAR RAJINIKANTH SPEECH AT THE STUNT UNION GOLDEN JUBILEE!

It had been reported earlier that, yesterday (August 26, 2017) was the 50th year Golden Jubilee celebration of the Stunt Union. A lot of big celebrities had attended the event. These included Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, Suriya, Karthi, Balakrishna, etc.

At the 50th year event, Superstar Rajinikanth had given a wonderful speech that highlights the importance of the stunt department. In his speech, he said:

“When I was a kid, I used to check how many fights are there in a film. The only two things I was interested in as a kid were, the number of fights and the number of reels in a film. As much as a producer or a director is important, a stunt choreographer and his assistants are also important.

Everyone in cinema sweats it out daily. But the stunt department not only sweats but also sheds blood for the sake of cinema. It was Dr.MGR who started the stunt union. This year marks his 100th birthday and also the Stunt Union’s 50th anniversary. It is a very special occasion. Even after MGR left cinema, there were wages given to the stunt department union by him.
