A POLITICAL COMEDY AHEAD OF THE 2016 STATE ELECTIONS?

Gundu Kathirikai is an upcoming Tamil film starring director/actor Sundar C in the lead role. This political comedy film directed by debutant Venkat Raghavan is apparently nearing the finish line with all the talkie portions completed.

It is said that the team is currently canning an important fight sequence at the outskirts of Chennai near Binny Mills. Post this fight scene, the team will be shooting a couple of songs.

We also hear that the team is eyeing for a May release. May is already getting a little crowded with many big film releases being planned. Will Gundu Kathirikai release before Tamil Nadu state elections is something we will have to wait and see.
