Ace-director Sundar C commonly known for his commercially successful films announced his biggest project ever as Sangamithra. Although the official announcement was made 2 years back and we are still awaited to see the film go on floors. 

Now, sources close to us have revealed that the project is set to take off in August. Having a historical backdrop, the film stars primarily actors from the industry such as Arya and Jayam Ravi collaborating together for the first time. The music is composed by AR Rahman and the film is produced by Thenandal studios limited.
