Subtitling is one of the most important jobs in the film industry, which indeed is a very challenging task, to translate regional language's content into English, without any loss of the meaning.
Behindwoods on that note caught up with subtitlist Rekhs for an exclusive interview, where she talked about the challenge of subtitling Santhanam's dialogues. She said, "Oh my god (laughs). Santhanam is my biggest enemy. On an average, a reel would have around 250 subs, but when Santhanam comes into the play, and if his portions are there on that reel, there will be easily 300 - 350 subs. I will have a heart attack if I see him on the reel."

At the trailer launch of Sakka Podu Podu Raja which happened earlier today, Santhanam had lots to say about his friends Simbu, Arya and director Rajesh.
Speaking about Arya, he said: "You can see shirtless posters of me because of Arya. Arya advised me to become health conscious as I was not just a comedian, but an actor. If I am healthy, I can influence my fans to be so too. If Arya had been as involved in films as he was with fitness, he would be a Bollywood hero now. He loves cycling so much!"
Praising director Rajesh's contribution to the SPPR, he said: "He stuck with the team till the end even during the making of the trailer, till the wee hours of this morning. His tireless efforts are definitely to be noted."
Santhanam had lots to say about Simbu too. "Simbu is my Godfather. When we were thinking of the options for the music director for this film, STR popped up. Even though he is such a big star, he said yes simply because I asked. I will always stand by him."
His entire speech had the audience reeling in laughter every now and then. All the best, Santhanam!
