Actor Dinesh is joining director Vetrimaaran after their critically acclaimed Visaaranai. But this time, Vetrimaaran isn't directing the film but producing it. Fox star studios will distribute the film. Debutant Rajkumar directs the film, and the other technical team comprises of Music director Arol Corelli, Cinematographer Vishnu Rangasamy and Editor GB Venkatesh

The First look posters were interesting which got released today were quite impressive for its satirical take. The first poster that released had the concept of evolution of humankind from a monkey, but it was like portrayed how an ordinary man evolves to become a politician. The other poster which released later today was, even more, funnier, which showcased Dinesh reading a book. The highlight is the book's cover which read "How to become a Chief Minister in 30 days?"
