BIG PONGAL CLASH! LEADING TAMIL STAR'S FILM TO COMPETE WITH VISWASAM

As we had reported yesterday, the title and first look of STR's next with Sundar C has come out today. The film has been titled Vandha Rajava Thaan Varuven (VRTV), following the iconic dialogue from Mani Ratnam's CCV that Simbu delivers.

The first look has STR rocking a dance move with his shades on and it has quickly excited a lot of fans. On the first look, we also have the film's release date! Yes, VRTV will be hitting the screens for Pongal 2019.

This means that STR will be clashing with Thala Ajith's Viswasam. Now that's quite an exciting Pongal indeed. The shooting for VRTV has been progressing swiftly and kudos to the team for that. They are expected to wrap up very soon and move to the post-production stage.

VRTV is produced by Lyca Productions, has music by Hip-hop Tamizha and stars Megha Akash in the lead role alongside STR, while Mahat and Catherine Tresa play other important roles.
