STR, the multi-faceted talent, recently achieved a record of singing more than 100 songs, for various composers.
He has officially released a press statement to share his feelings about this record. He says, "Singing has always been my passion and it comes from my father. I am happy and lucky to have sung the songs that I have, with most being super hits. I never realized I have sung 100 plus songs. I would like to thank wholeheartedly all the music directors, directors and co-singers for having given me the opportunity to be a part of their journey.
Actually, I am a keen learner and the very experience of working with literally all the music directors keeps giving me a larger and wider sight into the world of music. I thank my fans for supporting and encouraging me in whatever avatar I am taking up. 100 is just a number as far as I am concerned but still attach a lot of pride to this moment. Cinema is an integral part of my life, soul, and system and I will strive more harder to excel and carve a separate space for myself"
There were a few speculations stating that there might be two or more versions of STR's next film.
Now, STR took to Twitter to clarify that the film will be made only in English and it would be dubbed into Tamil. He tweeted, "Regards to the rumors spreading about two versions are false. Only version which is English. Thanks @menongautham for penning the dialogues. The film will be dubbed in Tamil and other main regional languages. #SilambarasanTRFilm @santoshsivan @thisisysr @menongautham #Antony"
The film has cinematography by Santosh Sivan, music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, editing by Anthony and dialogues by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
