Some of the leading cinemas across Chennai city remained shut for the second consecutive day. The storm might have calmed down but the effect it had left behind is yet to be subsided.

If you have had a torrid 24 hours and wish to relax a bit by watching a film in a theatre close to you, there are few theatres that have already resumed their shows while some of them will get back to normalcy by this evening.

Escape & Palazzo - Screening from evening onwards
S2 Perambur - All shows cancelled
Theyagraja - Screening from matinee onwards

AGS Cinemas
AGS OMR - Noon shows cancelled for now. Matinee status unknown
AGS T. Nagar and Villivakkam - Screening all shows

GK Cinemas
Shows resumed since last evening with a decent occupancy
