Deceased legendary actress Sridevi's elder daughter Jhanvi Kapoor is all set to make her big screen debut with the Bollywood romance drama Dhadak. The film is produced by ace director and producer Karan Johar. 

In a recent interview, Jhanvi has revealed that her mother did not want her to become an actress at all. But she was personally handling the work relating to Jhanvi's film. 

"She was more relaxed about Khushi getting into films. She thought I was naïve, that I wasn’t thick-skinned enough. She wanted us to live a more relaxed life. She loved what she did but you know it was intense. She once said, I’m leaving my little flower in the muck", reminisced Jhanvi.
