The final scripting and pre-production work of Thalapathy 62 is going on at full throttle. This AR Murugadoss directorial is expected to go on floors in the first month of 2018.
As reported by us, Girish Gangadharan has been roped in to take care of the cinematography, and now we have come to know that legendary eight-time National Award Winning editor Sreekar Prasad who worked in Vijay-ARM movies Thuppakki and Kaththi, would be editing this film as well. An official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.

In a recent exclusive interview with Behindwoods, the 'Adiye Azhage' actress Nivetha Pethuraj revealed that she was approached for Vijay's Bairavaa but she couldn't do the film.
When she was asked about the viral meme of her gawking at Vijay at Behindwoods Gold Medals, Nivetha replied saying, "I was very conscious not to see Vijay, I know people will be making memes out of it. I was only looking at RJ Balaji but the photo was shot in a way that it looked like I was staring at Vijay."
