Dhanush's Pattas which released on Pongal this year achieved as great a success in the minds of the people as it did at the box office! The movie had Dhanush play a dual role - the father role was paired with Actress Sneha, and the son role was paired with Actress Mehreen Pirzada.
Bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi films, Pattas movie's concept was derived from the early martial art - Adimurai. Incidentally, Adimurai is one of the ancient, most traditional and revered martial art of Tamil Nadu, and is a type of Varma Kalai (an art based on the vital pressure points). The movie highlighted the rich culture and specialities of this martial art, and the fight scenes inculcating this became quite famous.
Recently, Morattu Thamizhan Da video song was released, and in that Dhanush exhibited and trained his students in Adimurai. Now, a sneak peek video of Sneha's fight scene in the movie is released and it makes us go wow. The actress is at her fierce best, as she neatly pins her attackers the Adimurai way. She also relieves one of her attackers from going stiff, letting him catch his breath at last.
This act is caught on video by two youngsters and uploaded on the internet. This video is screened at a Muay Thai Training Academy at Bangkok, where the students dismiss it as fake. But the master arrives, and describes to them that this art is Adimurai, the mother of all defensive martial arts! Watch Sneha smashing fight sequences here!
