Sivakarthikeyan and Mohan Raja’s highly expected film also starring Nayanthara and Fahadh Faasil is Velaikkaran. The movie with music by Anirudh had been slated to release on September 29th but, the production house of 24 AM Studios has given a press note stating that, the movie will be postponed.

The press note stated that, Velaikkaran the big budget film, has 2 songs left to be shot and that this would take slightly longer in order to provide a quality product to the audiences. It had also been stated that the new online procedure to acquire the censor ceritificate, would take 3-4 weeks time.

Hence, following the above reasons, Velaikkaran will be pushed from September 29 to December 22, 2017. This new date December 22, based on distributors’ and exhibitors’ request, happens to be Christmas time (festival weekend) and 24 AM Studios apologised to fans of cinema, for the delay in Sivakarthikeyan and Mohan Raja’s Velaikkaran release. They also assure to deliver their best for the product.
