In this situation, a victory ceremony was held yesterday to mark the 25th day of the movie Don and to present the shield to all the film crew. Lyca Subashkaran came to Chennai from London for the event. The entire crew spoke at the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Sivakarthikeyan, the protagonist of the film, said, "Lyca did not want the Don film in the first place. They said they could make a great film with a great director. But I liked the energy and emotion told in the movie Don. So I said let's do it. They agreed that you can do it yourself. Being the introductory director for the film gave me a low budget."
Udayanithi Stalin, the distributor of the film, who spoke earlier on the show, shared an interesting piece of information. "The story of Don first came to me. I told him I would not act. I liked the story. But I can't play the role of the school boy in the story. That’s why I said no. Good work it has gone to Siva."
