After hearing the first half of Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, he asked Ponram to leave, saying things were very predictable in the second half. However the climax is what turned the tide in Ponram's favour and he did that film.
I asked Arunraja to meet Sathyaraj sir and narrate the story, but due to some reasons, we couldn't get him on board. I was a bit angry with Arunraja. But, later I went with him for a second narration. When we met during the Natchathira Cricket event in Malaysia, he agreed to do the film. In this flick, he plays the father of Aishwarya Rajesh, and is a farmer by profession."
