APPRECIATIVE EFFORT BY TEAM VELAIKKARAN

Sivakarthikeyan’s next with director Mohan Raja also starring Nayanthara has been titled Velaikkaran. We had already reported that the film’s shoot is happening at a popular studio in Chennai with the set of a slum as the film’s premise is set in a slum. We had already reported about Sivakarthikeyan playing a slum dweller.

Another interesting thing we hear about Velaikkaran is that, the makers have dumped in a lot of garbage and waste onto the slum setup to get the actual feel of shooting in the slums. Apparently, there was a strong presence of a bad odour throughout the set and in spite of this unpleasant smell, none of the lead actors complained about it and took it in their stride to perform their scenes.
