Ever since the announcement of the sequel, fans have been really excited to know whether their favorite actors will be reprising their roles in this movie. However, there is no official announcement on the cast and crew yet, from the makers.

Meanwhile, a few reports surfaced online that actress Simran has been roped in to do Jyotika’s role in ‘Chandramukhi 2’. With this news, fans of the actress have been really excited to see Simran in a different avatar.

However, actress Simran clarified through her Twitter handle that all this news is fake. She tweeted saying “It is a fake news I am sorry to disappoint my fans wanted to clarify I have not been approached for any such role for a movie. I kindly request you all to plz get it right before publishing it on any platform. Thank you.” (sic)

Well, it looks like we will have to wait for a while to get some concrete information on the project, from the makers. Stay tuned.
