MAANADU PRODUCER ANNOUNCES A GRAND PROJECT THAT WAS HELD DUE TO CONTROVERSY!

Kalyani Priyadarshan was expected to play the female lead in the earlier announcements made. All eyes turned on the project when the producer of the film had earlier announced in August that STR will no longer be a part of the project due to logistical issues. He added that this was a project close to his heart, but couldn't avoid dropping Simbu from it.

However, the STR fans have been happy after the producer recently announced that Simbu is back in the project and the shooting schedule is also said to be planned from January 3rd week. With these happening, producer Suresh Kamatchi is also bankrolling other projects in the side.

One major upcoming project of him will be with the legendary director Bharathiraja, who is set to make his dream project 'Kutraparambarai' as a grandeur web-series. It is mentionable that the project was visioned to be made as a film earlier by both, the veteran director and director Bala, which evoked controversies as to who has to gets the title/story and materialize it. However, the project did not go on floors by both the creators, until now.
