Director Shankar’s Boys (2003) was a trendsetting film which was said to be well ahead of its times besides introducing a group of fresh, promising artists like Siddharth, Genelia, Bharath, Thaman and Nakul.
Thaman who later turned into a full time music director has an interesting news. Yes, the ace musician hints at a possible reunion with his Boys gang. According to our sources, this film would feature Siddharth and Nakul in the lead roles and Thaman will be taking care of the music department. Debutant director Mahendran Rajamani will apparently be directing this project. Mahendran is a former assistant of Tamizh Padam fame Amudhan. He has also worked as a co-director in Santhanam starrer Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham and Inimey Ippadithan.
Vansan movies is expected to fund this venture which might go on floors by June. We will soon update you with more details about this project.
