SIDDHARTH'S TAKKAR SONG NIRA: MUSIC REVIEW HERE!

Songs can either sparkle joy or disappoint in the very first few seconds and thats at least what I believe. It certainly happened for this 3rd single from the movie Takkar. Sid Sriram starts off from the get-go and when he sings, one thing is extremely difficult - turning attention away. The acoustical guitar simply amplifies the attraction and two additional vocals from Nivas Prasanna ( the composer himself) and Alex Samuel Jenito is just very refreshing and fun to probably hear and sing.

The lines that follow turn on the melody by more than a few notches. The mission is complete and you will be humming the lines straight away. Naveen Iyer entices you more into the song with his flute solo. Then we don't have a traditional stanza but what accompanies is the rap-styled singing by Gautam Vasudev Menon who impressed me  as a good singer when he performed at a tribute show for AR Rahman.

Malvi Sundaresan then takes over from GVM and does something which is almost impossible to achieve these days, matching Sid Sriram in delivering the melody of a song in its purest form. I couldn't find much about this singer other than links that talk about this song. Malvi's singing is pure delight and like an icing on this delicious cake of a song. Nivas Prasanna, take a bow and he really has gotten my attention now after his recent songs from the movie Titanic and the other single "Maragatha malai".

The guitar is by the rockstar Keba Jeremiah and Bass guitar responsibilities go to Manikandan V. Ku Karthik provides the beautiful lyrics for the song. Harmonies belong to Niranjana Raman, Deepthi Suresh and Ala B Bala. 

Regarding the movie's album - two songs have already been released - Rainbow thiralil and Maragatha Maalai. Now, in the alluring voice of three fabulous singers - Sid Sriram, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Malvi Sundaresan comes yet another impressive song Nira. Listening to this peppy number is what one needs to do right now! Enjoy the light-hearted melody now!

Takkar is bankrolled by Sudhan and Jayaram under the banner of Passion Studios and features a star-cast of Abhimanyu Singh, Yogi Babu, Munishkanth, RJ Vignesh and Ramdoss in pivotal roles.

It was recently reported that popular comedian Yogi Babu will be seen playing dual roles in this upcoming film. For the unversed, this will be the very first time for the comedian to essay the role of a father and son in the film and the father character is said to be a don.
