Shashaa Tirupati won her first ever National Award for 'Vaan Varuvaan' song from Kaatru Veliyidai at the 65th National Awards announcement ceremony.
 

The super talented singer has thanked everyone for the love and wishes, that she's been receiving. "I am incredibly honoured to get the National Award, for this soulful track composed by A.R.Rahman sir. This goes out to the jury members of the National Awards for selecting me, and Rahman sir, for trusting me with the song.
