DIRECTOR SHANKAR GETS IT FROM A LEGEND

K Balachander Gold Medal for Excellence in Indian Cinema is the esteemed award from behindwoods which has been bestowed in the name of Iyakkunar Sigaram. This year around, accomplished director Shankar gets the award.

Shankar has an enviable track list of near 100% success rate as regards his films. The man who is known for his hard work, meticulousness and patience, was bestowed upon this honor by the multifaceted Panchu Arunachalam.

The other esteemed dignitaries present on the stage during this honoring were KB's daughter Pushpa Kandaswamy and her husband Kandaswamy, writer Jeyamohan, VFx specialist Srinivas Mohan and Manoj NS, Managing Director and Chief Executive, Behindwoods.com.
