Director Selvaraghavan sat for an exclusive with veteran director Bhakiyaraj for Behindwoods and shared many things. Regarding his brother Dhanush, he said that he didn’t see the spark in Kadhal Kondein, but definitely saw it during Pudupettai.
Regarding his acting debut Sani Kayidham, he said that he didn’t realise acting was quite tough. He refused to divulge details about what kind of role it was and what was his role’s connection to that of Keerthy Suresh’s, preferring to keep the suspense intact.
Having directed SJ Suryah in Nenjam Marappadhillai, he said that the former was just an actor on the sets and there was no undue influence from him.
Speaking about successes and failures, he said that he didn’t expect 7G Rainbow Colony to connect so well with the audience but thought Aayirathil Oruvan would connect but unfortunately the film has been better accepted now than during the time it was released.
