'Pa Paandi', which was released in the year 2017, was written and directed by Dhanush. It was his directorial debut. The movie starred him, Rajkiran, Revathi, and Chaya Singh in the main roles. Madonna Sebastian, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Dhivyadarshini too played cameo roles.

Sean Roldan rose to fame after gaining critical acclaim for his work in Balaji Mohan's Tamil-Malayalam bilingual 'Vaayai Moodi Pesavum' (2014). He went on to make music in many movies including 'Sathuranga Vettai' (2014), 'Mundasupatti' (2014), 'Velaiilla Pattadhari 2' (2017), 'Mehandi Circus' (2019) and 'Dharala Prabhu' (2020).
