Sathyaraj, who was last seen in Vijay's Mersal, has now signed his next film, that will feature him as the lead. The much-experienced actor will be teaming up with director Shivraaj and Sundhari Films production banner. The actor has worked with both of them earlier in Adithadi in 2004.
 

This political satire, titled as 'Cinema Nadiganum Arasiyalvaadhiyum', will talk about an actor who is willing to enter into politics and the after-effects of his impact on politics. Bankrolled by Gnana Sundhari, for Sundhari Films, the film's story and dialogues are penned by director Selvabharathi, with director Shivraaj wielding the megaphone.

Planned as a trilingual, in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, Cinema Nadiganum Arasiyalvaadhiyum, is all set to take off from April 2018.
