Today (April 8), saw a huge protest that had active participation of various Nadigar Sangam members who stood for the ban on expansion of Sterlite plant and also for the Cauvery issue that has been a problem that needs an immediate solution for the betterment of our state Tamil Nadu. Actor Sathyaraj who got to speak at this protest said:

“We need to immediately ban Sterlite and fight for the Cauvery issue and all the Tamilians must support this movement. I am always a Tamilan and will stand for the rights of everyone in Tamil Nadu. I strongly protest for the Cauvery Management Board and for the Sterlite issue. We all must stand together and fight for our problems to get our due rights. Government must look into the problems of Tamil Nadu also! We will not give up no matter what!”
