Politicians from Tamil Nadu have been staging protests against Thalapathy Vijay's Sarkar, that is produced by Sun Pictures and directed by A.R.Murugadoss. The film's posters and banners were damaged outside many theatres throughout Tamil Nadu.
Reacting to all these controversies surrounding the film, the makers of Sarkar agreed to remove one shot from the film, which apparently irked the politicians.
It has now been revealed that the newly edited version will start to play in the theatres from this afternoon (November 9). The said controversial shot will no more be seen in the coming screenings of Sarkar. Sun TV, who has bankrolled the film, officially confirmed it through their news scrolling.
