It’s been 3 days since Vijay's Sarkar released, but the demand for the film has not gone even one notch lower. It has been quite a while since we have seen a big movie run so well in Tamil Nadu.

It is performing exceedingly well in Chennai too. Sarkar becomes the most collecting film for any movie on its first day in Chennai city surpassing all other biggies releases. With tomorrow and the day after being holidays, Sarkar is likely to continue this dream run for a few more days.

According to Behindwoods Box office Analysis wing, this Vijay starrer has grossed close to Rs 5.5 crores (Chennai city) from its first 3-days. Will it breach the magical 10 crore mark by the end of its first week is something we will have to wait and see.
