Kolamaavu Kokila is an upcoming Tamil film, that has Nayanthara and Yogi babu in the lead roles along with Jacqueline Fernandes and Saranya Ponvannan playing very important roles. The movie is directed by Nelson and produced by Lyca Productions.

Speaking exclusively to Behindwoods, Saranya Ponvannan, who plays the mother of Nayanthara in the film, talked about the lady superstar real life persona. She said: "Nayanthara is such a sweet person. Everyone has an image about Nayanthara, but she is a very nice human being. A down to earth person, with a good heart. I call her my daughter.  Even while messaging, I text her - my dear daughter. 

A remarkable aspect about her is that she wants to know everything right from what the other artists will speak, to how this scene will pan out. She coordinates with everyone on the set and makes sure things are right.

When a woman like her is so successful in cinema, I want to wave a flag and say I support her. I’ve told her, it is difficult for a woman to reach this position, people will try to pull her down. Hats off to her, I’m always her fan, standing by my daughter's side, waiting for her to stay at the top itself."
