“I SHARE A BOND WITH AJITH FROM MY PREVIOUS BIRTH”

Ajith’s birthday is just a few days away and we at behindwoods would be bringing you stories/quotes/statements from various personalities who have interacted with him.

We begin this series with cinematographer/director Santhosh Sivan and director/actor Ramesh Kanna who share their thoughts on the Varalaaru hero.

Ajith had worked with Santhosh Sivan in the Hindi film Ashoka. In fact, this is the only Hindi film that Ajith had worked and also the only one where he played an antagonist to another hero.

Santhosh Sivan explains perfectly in crisp words about Ajith. He says, “Ajith has an awesome radiance on and off screen”. That sums it all, right?

Ramesh Kanna has an interesting fact to tell us. He says, “I think I share a bond with Ajith from my previous birth. He featured in my first directorial Thodarum; I was there in an uncredited role in his film Kaadhal Mannan and I have acted in most number of films with Ajith.”  Ramesh Kanna certainly seems to be lucky.
