Vishal and Lingusamy's second outing together, Sandakozhi 2 has emerged with a good opening weekend figure, after its worldwide release last Thursday, the 18th October for Ayudha Poojai.

The film has performed well not just in Tamil Nadu but also in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions as well. Sandakozhi 2 was off to a slow start on Thursday but picked up later on from day 2 and day 3. Lack of proper family entertainers running in screens right now gave Sandakozhi 2 an advantage.

Sandakozhi 2 has so far made an approximate gross of ₹1.8 crores from its 4-days opening weekend. The next few days are going to be crucial which will decide the final verdict of this Vishal starrer.
