"I DID NOT WANT TO GO INTO COMEDY AGAIN"

Atharvaa is right now working in Imaikkaa Nodigal and he would very soon be teaming up with director Sam Anton for a film that would be bankrolled by Michael Rayappan of Global infotainment.

Elaborating on this, Sam Anton says, “This will be an action thriller and would be totally different from my earlier two films. I did not want to go into comedy again and took time to write the script.

I am very happy to be working with Atharvaa who plays a cop in the film. He is very energetic and I was blown over by his promising trailer in Imaikkaa Nodigal. The story needed a proper youngster and when I narrated the story, he liked it. Besides Atharvaa, Yogi Babu is there. I will be talking to others and finalizing them. The heroine and music director would soon be firmed up.

I will be going with the same technical team who worked with me in my previous films like Krishnan Vasant for cinematography and Ruben for cuts. We will go on floors in August. We are planning to shoot in Chennai and Hyderabad. For a song, we are planning to go to Italy. The story is based in Chennai”.
