BOX OFFICE: SULTAN HURRICANE, SECOND HIGHEST EVER!

Salman Khan is on a miraculous winning streak. His latest Eid release Sultan, has all the possibility of becoming the highest ever Indian grosser of all times. The opening is spectacular and with the excellent word of mouth the film has managed to garner, Sultan could very well rewrite all the box office record books.

It is said that Sultan has done a worldwide business of around 41 to 42 crores approximately on its first day. This is said to be the highest ever collection for an Eid release, the previous best being Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express with 33 crores.

Sutlan apparently is the second highest ever Bollywood opener behind only to Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year which had collected close to 45 crores on its first day.
