BOX OFFICE - SAITHAN OUTPERFORMS PICHAIKAARAN!

Vijay Antony’s Saithan which was released last Thursday, 1st of December has opened to some good response, especially among film buffs.

By the end of four day opening weekend, Saithan has grossed an estimated 1.47 crores from 249 shows at the Chennai city box office according to Behindwoods box office wing.

This is the first time, a Vijay Antony film has had an opening gross of over 1 crores.

Salim - 43 lakhs (3 day opening)
India Pakistan - 23 lakhs (3 day opening)
Pichaikaaran - 60 lakhs (3 day opening)
Saithan - 1.47 crores (4 day opening)
