“Amma inge vaa vaa, Aasai mutham thaa thaa” sings Robo shankar in the latest trailer release of Vishnu Vishal, Nikki Galrani starrer Velainu Vandhutta Vellatkaaran. Why? You may ask. This is his explanation as given to Soori in the trailer when he asks him about it: “Ipolam rhymes paadna thane trailer reach aaguthu!”
 

No doubt Robo Shankar was taking a jibe at the teasers of Vedhalam and Theri. Vedhalam’s teaser featured Ajith uttering “Kannaamoochi rey rey, kandupudi yarey” to the goons while Theri had Vijay saying “Twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are” to the goons. Robo might just have a point here because immediately after the release of these teasers fans went crazy posting these rhymes in social media. Rhymes no doubt is evolving to become a substitute for punch dialogues in Tamil cinema.
