Riythvika, the chirpy girl who was seen in Paradesi and Madras is a part of many interesting projects and she discusses about the same and her roles in them.
Projects
I have completed Kabali, Sigai, Engalukku Veru Engum Kilaigal Kidaiyadhu and Oru Naal Koothu. Ongoing project is Irumugan.
My role
In Engalukku Veru Engum Kilaigal Kidaiyadhu, I have done the main lead where Sounderraj is my pair. In Sigai, I play an important role alongside Prasad of Andhra Mess fame. In Oru Naal Koothu, I am one of the leads with Ramesh Thilak as my pair. As regards my role in Kabali, I cannot discuss about it. All that I can say is I play a very important character in the film.
Working with Rajinikanth
I should consider myself blessed to have worked with Rajini sir. I got this opportunity because of Ranjith sir. There is so much to learn from Rajini sir. He was generally silent on the sets. If he likes someone’s work, he will immediately appreciate. I have also been lauded by him for my performance. When I got the offer, I was both excited and tensed. But Rajini sir made us all feel very comfortable. He will always say, “Give your best at the first shot as your subsequent shots will never be as good as your first one”. This advice was apparently handed over to him by the legendary Sivaji Ganesan. Kabali is an unforgettable experience for me. No matter how many ever films I do in the future, I cannot forget Kabali.
Irumugan
I am doing an important role where a turning point in the film happens because of my character. Working with Vikram was really nice. He is a jovial person. I had combination scenes with Vikram, Nithya Menen and Thambi Ramaiah and they were awesome. Irumugan team is also close to my heart. I have some more portions to be shot for the film.
