Veteran Hollywood star Dave Prowse passed away on Saturday (29.11.2020). The British weightlifter-turned-actor had played the powerful Darth Vader role in the popular Star Wars trilogy, has died. He was aged 85.
Prowse’s first film was 1967’s Casino Royale, where he played Frankenstein’s Monster. He is also famous for his performances in movies such as Horror Of Frankenstein (1970) and Frankenstein and the Monster From Hell (1974).
Before entering stardom, Prowse had the history of representing England in weightlifting at the Commonwealth Games. He died after a short illness, and his agent informed the press about the same.
