Dennis Joseph made his film debut in 1985 with a screenplay for Eeran Sandhya. He made his directorial debut with Manu Uncle. He also directed Agrajan, Thudarkatha, Appu and Adharvam. It cannot be denied that some of his films were crucial in bringing out the best in many stars, especially Mammooty.
