REGINA CASSANDRA WITH AMITABH BACHCHAN

The ravishing Regina Cassandra will be making her Bollywood debut in Aankhen 2 wherein she would be sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and others.

A naturally excited Regina tells behindwoods, “It feels great to be a part of a huge cast such as this. I never thought of entering Bollywood but this offer came all of a sudden and everything was so quick and here I am a part of my first Hindi film.

The unit had seen some pictures of mine and had contacted my PR friend from Mumbai. She put them on to me and that’s how Aankhen 2 happened.

I play a character called Shanaya with grey shades. She is also a nice person; she has a mix of both good and bad.

I did get to meet Amitabh sir and he was such a chivalrous man. In fact, he was the one who extended his hand to say ‘hello’ and I responded. He was such a sweet person and made me feel so comfortable. The entire team made sure that I felt like I was one of them. They made me feel much welcomed.

I will begin shooting for Aankhen from January 2017”.

In Tamil, Regina is a part of 1945, Gemini Ganesanum Surulirajanum and a Red Giant film. Her Maanagaram will be releasing in September. She has also completed Selvaraghavan’s Nenjam Marapadhillai.
