Regina Cassandra plays a very different character in her upcoming Telugu film, Awe, that also has Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, and others.
In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, Regina opened up about the makeup process that happened to bring that makeover to her look. She said, "It was a very challenging experience. The tattoos work was a big task. When we had the shoot the next day, I came to the spot the previous day to get on the hair styling and makeup done. We started around 4 pm in the evening. Hairstyling and tattoos on hands alone were finished only by 4 am the next day.
For almost 24 hours, the make up session went on. After completing that, I had to put up another tattoo, on my back. I had slept only for 2 hours and immediately went for the shoot. We shot for 4 days continuously, in that schedule, and I couldn't bath on those 4 days. I couldn't take a shower since the tattoos and hairstyle would get disturbed. We had three schedules.
Immediately after getting my look done for Awe, I immediately made a video call to Vasuki Bhaskar (costume designer), and she got excited. She loved the look, and only at that time, we decided to try something like that in Party. That is how we got the look for Party."
