Earlier, it was reported that actor-producer Vishal had lodged a complaint with the Chennai police, alleging that popular producer RB Choudary had not returned cheque leaves, bonds and promissory notes even months after Vishal reportedly repaid a loan he had taken for the film Irumbu Thirai. Vishal further alleged that RB Choudary had been avoiding him for months, claiming that he had misplaced the documents. The incident caused a little flutter in the industry since Vishal and RB Choudary’ son Jiiva were known to be on fairly good terms.
Vishal tweeted on Wednesday, “It’s unacceptable that Mr #RBChoudhary failed to return the Cheque Leaves,Bonds & Promissory Notes months after repaying the loan to him for the Movie #IrumbuThirai,he was evading giving excuses & finally told he has misplaced the documents. We have lodged a complaint with Police.” (sic)

When Behindwoods contacted RB Choudary, he explained as to what happened in the matter. The producer said that he had given the said documents to one Sivakumar and in return, asked him to give it to Tiruppur Subramaniam. From there on, it would be routed to Vishal. However, post the sudden demise of Sivakumar, they could not find the documents. The producer added that they are still in search of the documents and things have been made further difficult owing to the pandemic situation. The producer, who is currently stationed in Kodaikanal, said that he would return to Chennai in a day or two and give a proper explanation in this issue, and settle the matter soon.
