Mundasupatti director Ramkumar is back again with his second film, Ratsasan, a mystery crime thriller, featuring Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul in the lead roles, with Ghibran composing the music.
The film released in very few screens across Tamil Nadu but with sheer positive word of mouth and overwhelmingly positive reviews, the film gaining popularity.
In fact, its performance in the 5th week is better than the 1st week. That pretty much sums it up. This is a very rare feat that no film has managed to achieve in the recent past. This proves yet again that good content will always create a box office window for itself.
According to Behindwoods Box office wing, Ratsasan has collected around
₹3.2 crores in Chennai city alone by the end of its 5th weekend. With steady occupancy and an increase in show counts, Ratsasan finally gets the BLOCKBUSTER upgrade.
