Now there is further intriguing news for the makers. When we consider box office analysis Sanju has performed extremely high when compared to Rajkumar's other directional ventures.
This is not surprising since the expectations for this film was much higher and the audience has been keenly waiting for the release. It has now surpassed the collections of Hirani’s previous releases to emerge as his highest opening week grosser. Sanju has collected Rs. 202.51 cr, Sanju has surpassed the business of Hirani’s earlier films like PK that collected Rs. 183.09 cr, and 3 Idiots that collected Rs. 78.59 cr.
On the other hand, there are very few Bollywood films that have crossed the 200 crore mark without being supported by any holiday in the first seven days. The release was seen on a regular Friday and yet managed to break records.
