Actor turned director, Ramesh Aravind is one of the underrated actors of South Indian cinema. He made his on screen debut in the Kannada film Sundara Swapnagalu (1986) under the legendary filmmaker, K Balachander’s direction.
He has played some memorable roles in Tamil, especially when he teams up with legends like K Balachander, Balu Mahendra and Kamal Haasan. Ramesh Aravind is currently acting in a Kannada film called Pushpaka Vimana. The trailer of the film, which was released last week looks to be one of the most critically acclaimed trailers in recent times. Ramesh Aravind’s performance is particularly being praised by the Kannada audience.
When Behindwoods spoke to Ramesh Aravind about the positive response that the trailer has garnered, he replies "Pushpaka Vimana is dedicated to all fathers. It is a story of dad and daughter who are crazy about planes. I play a low IQ guy."
