BREAKING: JOKER WINS THE NATIONAL AWARD!!!

The 64th National Awards winners list was announced a few minutes ago and with regard to Tamil Cinema, here is a happy news.
 

Raju Murugan's directorial, Joker, starring Guru Somasundaram in the lead role, has won the Best Tamil film for the year 2016. The film had music by Sean Roldan and was produced by S.R.Prabhu for Dream Warrior Pictures. Joker was a bold political satire film, which earned positive feedback from audience and critics.

The film has also won the award for Best Singer (Male) category. Sundarrayar has won this National honour for the song, Jasmine-u.
