PETTA AUDIO LAUNCH LIVE UPDATES - CHECK OUT

Superstar Rajinikanth's Petta audio launch is happening today (December 9) in a grand manner at a private college in the outskirts of Chennai. The songs of the film are composed by Anirudh Ravichander and the first two singles from the film are already chartbusters.

The film is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Sun Pictures with Simran, Trisha, Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bobby Simha, Sasikumar, and others, being part of the cast.

5.06 PM - The motion poster of Petta being screened for the audience

5.17 PM - The evergreen beauty, Simran enters the auditorium.

5.32 PM - Actors Sasikumar, Samuthirakani, and Guru Somasundaram gets seated at their places.

5.34 PM - Actress Trisha and director Karthik Subbaraj make their entry 

5.37 PM - The man of today's event, Anirudh Ravichander enters the auditorium.

5.42 PM - Latha Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Dhanush are here.

5.50 PM - Make way for Thalaivar!!! Superstar Rajinikanth enters the auditorium amidst big cheers and applause from the audience. He comes along with the film's producer Kalanithi Maran.

5.57 PM - Its time for the event to kickstart! Green signal for the biggest event! 

5.59 PM - An interesting dance performance for the songs of Rajinikanth, Anirudh Ravichander, and Sun Pictures. The team dances for Sarkar's songs too.

6.09 PM - Actor Bobby Simha walks up to the stage to speak. He says he is gifted to act alongside his favourite actor, Rajinikanth. He says, "Pongal-ukku varrom. Petta Paraak". Bobby performs the iconic Annamalai dialogue in style, as Rajini watches it with his charismatic smile. After performing, Bobby adds that no one can recreate such a scene in the future. 

6.15 PM - Fans gift a sketched portrait to Rajinikanth. 

6.17 PM - Time for yet another dance performance.

6.24 PM - Actress Malavika Mohanan, who is part of the Petta cast, is now on the stage. She adds that it is a dream come true moment for her to act in this big film.

6.52 PM - Petta's lyricist Vivek is now on the stage. "There is a myth that fair skinned people are beautiful. Rajini sir broke that myth and he helped an entire generation to come out of that myth. We have learnt a lot from him and he is an inspiration. Anirudh is a pocket dynamite and I am pleasantly surprised with his hit ratio. He is one of the sweetest persons I have ever met. Both, Rajini and Vijay Sethupathi garner attention with their screen presence. I am excited to see how the film pans out."

7.00 PM - The much awaited moment of the night is here. The audio launch happens, in a very unique manner. The people of Tamil Nadu will launch the audio through their own mobiles. Call this mobile number - 88288 88028 and release the audio. Rajinikanth's voice will followsuit, and the songs will be launched.

Everyone watches Rajini sir's films, even in Kenya, and I usually see his films, along with Anurag Kashyap. There is no competition between me, Rajinikanth and Vijay Sethupathi.
