Superstar Rajinikanth met the press in an event at Egmore, where he thanked the media for the help and support extended to him with regards to his political entry announcement.

The star had lots to share, which included: "I thank my press and media friends for taking my political announcement, meetings and speeches to every nook and cranny in the world. I hereby ask you all to forgive me if I have made any mistakes so far.

We are currently working on the party flag. We will soon announce the launch of it by way of a huge press meet."

Speaking about his early past, Rajini said, "When I was a young man, I too worked in the media, as a proofreader. For over two months I worked this job in a media company in Bangalore based on my friend's recommendation. I, therefore, do not avoid meeting the press or reporters."
